Despite the me too movement being not restricted to a single country, language and social media platform most of the attention was on the manifestations of #MeToo in the US and only on the social platform twitter. This study we will go beyond and analyse how East Asian women engaged within the me too movement due to different cultural, social and political norms compared to Western countries. During this study, I will analyse specific social platforms used by these women and the affordances they provided to this movement and the women using them.
