Hi Cassidy! This was a very well-presented and engaging topic. I really enjoyed how you used League of Comic Geeks as an example of an online community. I myself have never heard of it so thank you for teaching me something new.

Q1. You talked about how the three processes social media affordances shape how fans interact. Which affordance do you think has the biggest impact on gaming communities specifically?

Q2. On platforms like reddit and tumblr them being used for general purpose, do they happen to also have down sides in using them…can there be a bit of exclusivity and toxicity in certain reviews that may cause ones identity to be tested? If so how do you think this effects the use of the platform space.

Q3. Out of all online communities, what made you choose League of Comic Geeks as a model for understanding fan culture…how did you come about to know about this platform? was it through research or just your natural interest?

Thank you! And well done on your presentation!
