Hi Daniel, how interesting to hear about your work using social media to help other international students here at Curtin!

As assigned, I have a few questions for you:

    1.
As an international student at Curtin, how did you first find a social media community for international students here?

Was there any social media content you found particularly useful when you first arrived, and does that inform the type of content you create now?

    2.
Do you ever find language or cultural differences are a barrier to communication among international students on social media? Are there any platform affordance that help with this?

E.g. do comment sections allow people to translate for each other, overcoming language barriers?

    3
Have you, or any international students in your community, ever faced harassment on your Curtin social media posts? Are there any tools or techniques you use to moderate harassment and keep your social media community safe and friendly?
