Hi Brittany, I was assigned to respond to your presentation and I really found your discussion of Tumblr and asexual counterpublics very insightful. I especially liked how you explored the role of platform features in shaping community and identity. I have a few questions that I think could further develop your ideas:

    1. How do Tumblr’s affordances specifically support the formation of an asexual counterpublic compared to more mainstream platforms like Instagram or TikTok?

    2. While you show how Tumblr enables asexual community-building, do you think these counterpublics remain inclusive, or can they also create boundaries or exclusions?

    3. To what extent does anonymity on Tumblr shape how users express their asexual identity and connect with others?
