I like how you linked the guide dog incident to the idea of ‘issue public’, where people gather and support disability rights and fair treatment. But, I wanted to know, do you think these online publics can lead to a long-term social change for disability inclusion and fair treatment, or do you think they are temporary reactions when one video or story goes viral, then people disappear and move on?

You mention how an influential peer, XiaoguoXiaguo, “brings people [with and without visual disabilities] together”, but if the majority of XiaoguoXiaguo’s audience is non-disabled viewers, do you think that changes his role from community builder to more of an educator and advocate for disability rights?

As someone who has never used BiliBili before, the concept of ‘danmu’ (real-time comments) actually sounds really fun and kind of unique compared to normal comment sections. You mentioned that visually disabled users can use screen readers to convert danmu (real-time commenting) into audio comments, allowing users to interact rather than just consume content. Do you think these features give visually disabled users the same level of interaction as non-disabled users on Bilibili?
